Analytics and big data have been major areas of innovation within Oracle's product line-up over the past few years, with new database features such as the In-Memory Option and Big Data SQL complementing new BI technologies such as Exalytics, OBIEE integration with Hadoop and Oracle Endeca Information Discovery.
Driving all of this are demands from customers to analyse and process larger and more disparate datasets, giving rise to new information management data architectures that go beyond traditional Oracle relational databases to embrace the worlds of Hadoop, unstructured and schema-on-read databases.
In this keynote, we'll look at what new capabilities these products can give us, how they affect the traditional data warehousing and BI architectures we recommend to customers, and how the skills we have as Oracle DBAs, BI and Fusion Middleware developers are still just as relevant in this new world.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
