The Oracle Advanced Analytics Option (OAA) contains Oracle Data Miner (ODM) GUI tool and Oracle R Enterprise (ORE) components which make the open source R statistical programming language and environment ready to run on large data sets in database.
With ORE, it is possible to boost the standard R features with open source CRAN packages that extend the functionality of R language. In the example we will show how to extend ORE with klaR package that enables us to easily calculate IV and WOE values frequently used in predictive modeling.
