Information systems development in a public company is conditioned by different factors and interests.
During the years, Information Systems evolve and often become unmanaged, heterogeneous and cumbersome. Strategic decisions for solving that problem imply system consolidation on different levels of architecture. Public companies are ideal example of different challenges in front of successful system cosolidation.
The goal of the lecture is to present different challenges and propose solutions in the system consolidation process.
