Dynamic scalability is an important aspect of a cloud platform. WebLogic Server 12.1.2 includes a set of new features and capabilities that eliminate the need to manually configure additional servers to expand a cluster.
In previous WebLogic Server releases, dynamically scaling the number of servers in a domain was a manual reconfiguration process. With Dynamic Clustered Servers and Server Templates in WebLogic Server 12.1.2, an administrator can easily create a set of homogeneous servers in a cluster. WebLogic will calculate server specific attributes using the instance id of the dynamic server, thereby making it easy to dynamically scale up the number of servers.
In this session it will be shown the example of dynamic cluster behavior.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
