Subject of this presentation is to show most important events on a RDBMS market for the period of one year.
There will be presented information about various interesting events like: sales results, acquisitions, new product releases and new product versions. For the most part I will include information about the activities of most important vendors like Oracle, IBM and Microsoft. But I will include information about ther vendors and open source market.
All presented information are based on the reports and analyses of independent consultant companies like Gartner, IDC, Meta Group and Forester with a goal to present objective status of the market. Recommendations from those companies are used by technology users to establish their development plans.
