At several customer sites we are not allowed to access the server and only allowed access to the database with limited privileges.
The presentation will show how we can go about “detecting” and isolating problems and the tools we managed to use. There is also the part on how to manipulate the “service provider” to obtain help, information, and ultimately: Fixes.
For real trouble-shooting, you don’t need priviledges, but you do need the cooperation of a knowledgable DBA.
Particularly Useful for anyone using a cloud-service.
