With the latest 12.1.0.2 version, Oracle is introducing a new "in-memory" option, which should offer performance boost for the critical SQL queries.
Did you know that, by using already available functionalities, you can also build your own in-memory database without the need for upgrade to the latest version, and without purchasing the in-memory option? With falling the price of memory, there is a oportunity to use old and well known features in a new way. In presentation it will be described features such as object caching, SQL and function result cache, Large pages etc. which you can use right now, with the existing version of your Db, to significally improve performance of the whole system.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
