Oracle database object types are rarely used as complement and/or alternative to PL/SQL packages with code organization and expressing the concepts of an application model.
This presentation will provide an introduction and try to explain where and how can this feature be effectively used. Drawbacks to look out for will be pointed out.
Demonstration of usage of Object types in official Oracle database API will also be given.
