JavaFX is a set of graphics and media packages that enables developers to design, create, test, debug and deploy rich client applications that operate consistently across diverse platforms.
Written as a Java API, JavaFX application code can reference APIs from any Java library. This session aims to illustrate how code written in Java can be reused using JavaFX and ran on any platform with help of DalvikVM for Android and RoboVM for iOS which will be demonstrated with simple application. RoboVM includes a Java to Objective-C bridge that makes it possible to call into the native iOS CocoaTouch APIs. This allows sharing code easily between desktop, Android and iOS apps.
The conference is organized by the Croatian Association of Oracle users. More about the association can be found at Hroug.hr.
