Even though ADF is a complete framework, applicable in various projects, situations might occur when we don't want all of its modules.
The lecture will show one possibility of creating ADF application which uses only the user interface part of ADF (ADF Faces), but none of its database and binding modules (ADF Model and ADF Bindings). Instead, we have developed our own data model using Sql2o library, and our own bindings using standard Java Managed Beans.
Additional emphasis will be placed on all the things that need to be implemented and pitfalls that should be avoided in order for this solution to work seamlessly with ADF Faces.
