We can simply and automatically clone and move configuration of Oracle 11g Fusion Middleware (FMW) components from one environment to the other, for instance from test to production.
To achieve that we will use movement scripts that are the part of FMW software distribution. Using these scripts, we can clone or move FMW home, Java components and Oracle instances for any component that is a part of FMW platform. With this procedure we will also clone or move our applications that we have configured on FMW platform. As a result we will get production environment that is exact copy of test environment.
Examples for cloning FMW Forms Services, SOA Suite and HTTP server will be explained in more detail.
